A family session in the morning sun...

Here are a few photos from one of my very favourite ever portrait sessions.  Morning sunlight can be incredible if you are lucky with the weather like we were.  I just loved the girls in their gorgeous pink dresses, backlit by the sun - they looked a little bit magical in that light.  We also managed to squeeze in a handful of photos at home afterwards, so a very successful morning all round!

 

Beautiful autumn light!

Wow, so the good weather has finally arrived!  Even if just for a few days, I am so excited - the light was incredible today.  I had a gorgeous photo session this morning with two lovely little girls and their parents, which I will blog at a later point.  It's worth waiting for - there are some stunning images which I'm sure they will be delighted with.  The morning sunlight was so beautiful in the park that I couldn't resist a return visit later in the day to catch the evening rays.  Might even have to head out again tomorrow morning with the camera if the weather carries on, there is no substitute for incredible light like this.  Hooray for autumn!  Here are a few of this evening's shots:

Sally & Russ: engaged

I would just like to say a big thank you to Sally and Russ for their fab Paignton engagement photo session.  Despite the increasingly chilly evening winds, and their mutual dislike of the camera, they were incredibly patient and allowed me to get some lovely photos of them.  They even humoured me when I started to get overexcited about the beach huts, so gold stars all round.  I can't wait to photograph their wedding next month!
