Normally when I am faced with this much rain, I would suggest that we reschedule an engagement shoot. However, Scott works away a lot and there wasn't another opportunity for us to do this one, so Kerry and I decided to go ahead and brave the weather anyway. Brave was the operative word. It absolutely bucketed down on us. And then some... But it actually made everything a bit special! I love the whole feel that the weather gives to the photos, and there is just something so incredibly romantic about kissing in the pouring rain. South Devon Railway at Buckfastleigh is the just best ever location for an engagement shoot (thank you Kerry!) and I loved all the old engines, vintage style platform and steam trains! I love these photos and I really enjoyed getting to know Kerry and Scott. Their wedding is in July at Greenway in South Devon - can't wait!
I've been looking forward to sharing some images from a really lovely family session I did recently. We played tigers in the long grass, had a great time running around with the football and launched a zoom rocket almost into space. In between all that we also took some photos, some of which are here to share with you...
To celebrate Father's Day, here is a montage of some of my favourite recent 'Dad' shots - cradling newborns, cuddling toddlers, rescuing footballs and toasting daughters and new son-in-laws in the wedding speeches. Just wonderful! Extra bonus points awarded for spotting my own lovely father in the mix... ;)
I don't normally post many of my personal images, but this was a bit special so couldn't resist. I give you one incredibly luxurious yurt, my gorgeous husband, our 7th wedding anniversary and a huge number of beautiful buttercups...

Thanks to Harptree Court for the most incredible couple of days :)
