I have had the pleasure of carrying out several engagement shoots over the past few weeks, so I have a bit of a backlog of images that I really can't wait to blog!  For now, here is a very quick peek at Lucy and Scott's lovely photo session in Lyme Regis yesterday.  I'm really looking forward to photographing their village fete themed wedding at River Cottage in September!  I came home with so many gorgeous images yesterday, but I particularly loved these two:

Fonmon Castle, Cardiff: a preview of Andrea & Richard's wedding

I had a lovely trip up to South Wales last weekend for the gorgeous wedding of Andrea and Richard at Fonmon Castle, near Cardiff.  I loved the ceremony in the beautiful little church of St Hilary, especially as the show was nearly stolen by Andrea and Richard's one year old daughter India, crawling up and down the aisle!  Fonmon Castle was a really special venue for the reception afterwards, really stunning, both inside and out.  Here are a few of my favourite images as a quick preview:

Blake Hall, Essex: a wedding in the glorious sunshine

Huge congratulations to Nichola and Ian, who got married this weekend at Blake Hall in Essex.  It was a beautiful day, with glorious summer weather for their outdoor ceremony, and just the perfect setting to enjoy it!  Since the bride and groom met through playing rugby, it was only fitting that the tables should be appropriately named after various pitch positions!  I loved the delicate wildflowers decorating them, just beautiful.  It is the only wedding I have photographed (so far) that has included a 'battle of the counties' moment within the speeches - see below for the Kent versus Essex 'boat race' finale...!  Plus a few other preview images from Nichola and Ian's lovely day:

Saunton Sands pre-wedding family photography: Kelly and Brian

I am hugely excited about Kelly and Brian's wedding at the Saunton Sands Hotel this September! Having only driven past the hotel on the road before, I had no idea that it was going to be such an incredibly beautiful place to get married.  So I had the best surprise ever, when I met up with Kelly and Brian, and their two gorgeous daughters, and had a look at the venue with them.  Not only is the hotel pretty spectacular, with it's fabulous art deco design and views across the sands, but the beach is a really lovely spot for images as well.  It was really lovely to spend some time there together, hear some more about Kelly and Brian's wedding plans and capture some photographs of all the family together on the beach. I am really looking forward to photographing Kelly and Brian there on their wedding day... roll on the autumn!
