Last week, I had the pleasure of working with the brilliant Charlie at
The Real Cut Flower Garden, to create this gorgeous shoot at
Mapperton House and Gardens in Dorset. The beautiful dresses were supplied by
Belle and Bunty, and all accessories were the girls' own (spot the desert boots if you can!). I photographed the most wonderful wedding at
Mapperton last June, when Paula and Tim tied the knot on midsummer's day, and it instantly became one of my favourite wedding venues. The incredible gardens are tucked away in a valley in the Dorset countryside and are filled with nooks and crannies to explore, with stone grottoes and walkways, an old pool and wild garden, and a beautiful orangery. To add to that, there is also the gorgeous manor house, old English roses climbing everywhere and views stretching miles into the distance. And doors. So many gorgeous old doors!
So, with Charlie's gorgeous flowers from
the Real Cut Flower Garden, and the girls in those stunning
Belle and Bunty dresses, I was completely in my element! It really was a joy to photograph - here are a selection of the images...
