Lifestyle family photography: hello baby Leo!

Two years ago I photographed Natalie and Mat when they got married in Weymouth, Dorset. This week I had the pleasure of returning to see them again and to meet their beautiful new baby son, Leo. He is an absolutely gorgeous baby, already four weeks old and growing fast! Here is a tiny peek at some of their images:

Headshot & group portrait photography for business

Amy, Jess and Caroline from Wire Creative, standing in a barn

I absolutely loved photographing Amy, Jess and Caroline from Wire Creative recently. Amy got in touch asking me for some relaxed and fun images of them all to use for their business. We decided to use the brilliant Windout Barn, near Exeter, for our location shoot, which gave us all these different backdrops. The girls were all brilliant, and we ended up with a really great range of photographs of them all together, and individually. Here is a little look at their shoot:

Rosanna and Ian's beautiful wedding at Pynes House, Exeter

Bride and groom kissing in the driveway

Congratulations to lovely Rosanna and Ian, who got married last weekend at the magnificent Pynes House, just outside Exeter. It was such a stunningly beautiful day, with Rosanna looking incredible in two gorgeous dresses, lots of wonderful sunshine and laughter, and Pynes House just the perfect setting for the celebrations. I loved the beautiful flowers from Emma Vowles, plus all of Rosanna's individually embroidered napkins as favours for the guests - such a lot of work and such a lovely idea. It was a fabulous day and I am delighted to share a little preview here on the blog:

Weddings at Mapperton House & Gardens, Dorset

Bride stands in orangery door

Last week, I had the pleasure of working with the brilliant Charlie at The Real Cut Flower Garden, to create this gorgeous shoot at Mapperton House and Gardens in Dorset. The beautiful dresses were supplied by Belle and Bunty, and all accessories were the girls' own (spot the desert boots if you can!). I photographed the most wonderful wedding at Mapperton last June, when Paula and Tim tied the knot on midsummer's day, and it instantly became one of my favourite wedding venues. The incredible gardens are tucked away in a valley in the Dorset countryside and are filled with nooks and crannies to explore, with stone grottoes and walkways, an old pool and wild garden, and a beautiful orangery. To add to that, there is also the gorgeous manor house, old English roses climbing everywhere and views stretching miles into the distance. And doors. So many gorgeous old doors!

So, with Charlie's gorgeous flowers from the Real Cut Flower Garden, and the girls in those stunning Belle and Bunty dresses, I was completely in my element! It really was a joy to photograph - here are a selection of the images...

Becca and Adam get married at Bovey Castle

Bride and Groom standing on the staircase at Bovey Castle

Congratulations to the gorgeous Becca and Adam, who celebrated their wedding in style yesterday at magnificent Bovey Castle on Dartmoor. I met Becca two years ago, when she was a bridesmaid when I photographed her sister Natalie's wedding. I loved seeing all their family again, and it was really special to share another wonderful event with them all. And it really was wonderful! Becca and Adam's wedding ceremony took place in the stunning Cathedral Room, and was followed by a day of celebrations that included ferret racing, stilt walkers, two fantastic bands and an amazing fire performance on the South Terrace. I can't even begin to show you all of the day at this point, but just wanted to quickly edit a few preview images for Becca and Adam to see before they head off on honeymoon... I hope you like them!
